University of Sheffield - Discovery Night
Discovery night is a British Science Week event at the University of Sheffield that may be of interest to your pupils and their families.
On Friday 11th March, 4pm- 8pm, the University of Sheffield's laboratories and lecture theatres will be open to the public for an evening of science & engineering activities, talks and demonstrations. There will be lots of free, fun science activities for families. Robots, skeletons, 3D printers, microscopes, liquid nitrogen ice cream, lab tours, kids labs, mini lectures, virtual reality, walk on custard, see yourself in infra red….and much more. Everyone is welcome and the event is free; no booking required. Recommended age 5+.
