Eco-Committee Representative

Our Eco-Committee representative is Ava.

Her application got the most votes during our election process.

Phoebe, the 2017/2018 Eco-Committee Representative was super impressed with her application. She particularly liked Ava's ideas about gardening and helping both the school and the local Mosborough area.

Well done Ava!

Street Life Museum - Hull

We went on a trip to the Street Life Museum in Hull. Whilst there, we were able to see artifacts, read information and experience life in the past. Without these sources of information we would not be able to remember the past.

News Report 3

  • dairy entries

We have studied the sources, asked questions and gained information about the past.

Autumn 2 / 2018

'How to we remember the past?'

Our learning this term will continue to focus on trying to answer our question 'How do we remember the past'? As Historians, we will use our skills to learn about the past, discover how sources of information help us to find out about the past and learn new information about people and events. We will look at sources such as pictures, paintings and a diary. This learning will link to 'The Great Fire of London'.

Harvest Festival and Farmer's Market

We really enjoyed following our Design & Technology Sequence to create our fantastic 'Year 1 Bath Fizzies'.

We followed the steps:

1 - Evaluate ready-made products to decide what we liked and disliked about colour, shapes and smells.

2 - Practise the techniques needed to create our own

3 - Plan and design our own, thinking about colour, smell and shape.

4 - Make the product

Here is a selection of photographs to show the wonderful work we did leading up to our 'SELL OUT' afternoon at the Farmer's Market.
